A couple of days in early November might be very special actually. The famous albergues like Beilari will, of course, be closed, but there are some great little hotels and the restaurants frequented by the towns people will be open, also shops...

Many of the private albergues and hostals will be closed but the municipal albergue is open all year round. I stayed there in January last year. There are enough bars and shops open for food and supplies year round too.
Late October 2 years ago was fabulous- shops open restaurants open accommodations open some closed with plenty open. Weather turned dicey though quickly

Espagnac
Marcilhac
Cabrerets

Pasturat (or Bears/Vers if you want to get a bit further ahead)
Cahors.
I book ahead on the Célé, there isn’t a great deal of accommodation, and i have...
