    Snoring. AARRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!

Yes. If you have to or want to stay in Albergues on heavily traversed Camino's (CF,CP AND CN) snoring will be an issue. Another issue is open or closed windows? Early risers making noise putting gear together? Stay in hotels or Private Albergues or walk less traveled Camino's.

LIVE from the Camino Starting the Invierno today - March 12, 2024

It will be very hot in July. I walked this route in June/July 2023 and it was in the mid 30's every day. It is a beautiful route but I would recommend late Spring versus Summer.

    Spring Camino, where?

I did not read any other responses, so sorry if redundant. You could walk the Vasco. Starts in Irun and connects to the Frances in either Burgos or Santa Domingo de Calzada.

    Route from fuenterroble de salvatierra

24 beds should be more than enough. I walked in late April and never saw more than 5 in any location. In Fuenterroble make sure you shower in the main building. The solar showers are very cold.

Camino de Madrid Trip Report - March 2023

Those are some long days. Some young folks I was with on the Primitivo walked Lugo to Santiago in two days. I walked the first 50km's Lugo to Melide but back to back 50's is over the top for an old guy like me.

Suggestions on getting from Madrid airport to Leon?

You can also take the train. Take the cercanias train from the lower level in T4 to Chamartin station. Then take the train from there to Leon. There is a Renfe ticket office in Madrid airport T4

Camino de Madrid Trip Report - March 2023

I just found this thread. A very interesting read. What strikes me the most other than the rock museum which I missed is you did the entire walk in 6/7 days?

LIVE from the Camino Starting the Invierno today - March 12, 2024

I found this to be the most challenging day. Nice walk up in the hills along the river. Then steep decline to cross the river followed by a steep 7 km's back uphill to Chantada. Stayed in Albergue A Pousa, very nice clean modern place with washer and dryer. Lots of good options right up the...
