I have stayed in 2 different hotels. One is no longer in business. The other is the Cathedral Hotel. I have not stayed in albergues. One, Betunia is a small donativo with a Communal meal. It does not take reservations. Another highly recommended is a German confraternity albergue just before you...
I won't be bringing another group. I retired last week and am on on my way Saturday to "increase the crowding" in Alaska and Canada by camping all summer. Just Phil and I back on the Camino to walk and volunteer next year in late winter early spring!
I read it this morning. Note he contributes to the crowding by bringing groups to this part of the Camino. He didn't say he'd be making a change himself only that others should...
I've mentioned on other threads that the heart and meaning of the Camino did not come to me until I'd been walking 40+ days on my first Camino and had to end prematurely due my husband's illness. I'd been walking and some days really hating it (still do some days as Kirkie's song indicates)...

They climb wood easily. Plastic and metal less easily. Someone had posted they liked frilly...
Yes, and important to get a coil for the EU and not the US in my case...poof, it was gone...also had one burn out in the US because I didn't have it submerged. Since then I have gone with the microwavable cup...at home and abroad.
My husband ordered his pack from 6 Moon Designs. They had him take measurements to ensure the fit (modular parts so you order your preference of belt, straps or vest style, etc). Then the had him fill it and walk around the park where I took photos and we sent them to the company. They then...
Our first Camino in 2016, many of the young people in school and church groups had an obligatory mat to sleep on the munipal sports hall floor or in the church. Last year they were all shipping their packs and walking only with a light daybag.
In 2016, if you needed a mat, you could borrow one...
