Has anyone currently walked the Aragones route?
Is Ruesta open?
I emailed them a week ago but no response.
 
Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
I stayed there about 2 weeks ago. Try whatsapping them (i definitely how a reply). The food was good there but organised on a syndicalist anarchist approach so took some time for the communal cena... We were glad we had had our main meal at lunchtime in Artieda! It was an experience staying there that i would recommend
 
Yes - walked through there last week - the albergue and restaurant are open - wonderful place - ask the locals how to get to the castle - so cool - great place!

Ruesta was our standout stay on the Aragon a number of years ago. Interesting people and very good food, although food may vary according to who is cooking. Glad to hear it is still open.

I've stayed there before and enjoyed it. Was Artieda open?? They said closed when I checked Gronze.
 
Hmmm we definitely had food at Artieda (and they were busy). I just assumed they were also open for accommodation.
 
Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

We stayed there on september 17th. Had a communal meal. Bar in the village was open also. Had bear and a boccadillo.
