Hi everyone
We will be arriving in Santiago airport on Saturday 23rd October on the Aerlingus flight from Dublin. It arrives in Santiago at 2.25. Any recommendations on how to get to Sarria at that time. I see there is a bus at 11 which we will miss.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

In 2017, two of us decided to take a taxi rather than wait several hours in the bus station. If I recall, it cost around $120. Depending on how many are in your party, the cost might not be prohibitive.

Correction, Euro 120

Ideal pocket guides for during and after your Camino. Each weighs just 40g (1.4 oz).
That was the only bus I found too. I'm arriving earlier the same day from Stansted, but I need to get to O Cebreiro (about 25 miles passed Sarria). I shall get a regular bus into Santiago then another to Pedrafita and walk 3 miles up the mountain to hopefully find a bed in O Cebriero and start properly the next morning. Unfortunately that one doesn't go through Sarria.
Good luck
Enjoy
Buen Camino

There is a bus at 15:00 from Santiago that stops at Lavacolla and continues to Lugo arrives 16:50 https://www.monbus.es/en#seleccion

Then a bus from Lugo to Sarria at 17:30 arrives 18:09

The 15:00 might be a push so try 18:30 ex Santiago, 20:30 ex Lugo

The 11:00 bus from Santiago calls at the airport at 11:21, arrives Pedrafita 14:05

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Thank you for your replies. By the time we collect our bags etc we wont make the 3oclock in Santiago. Ideally we would like it to stop at the airport.

I think a taxi is our best option now. There are 3 of us so we have room for one more if you wanted to join?

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

That would be great. I will send you a personal message!

if you get to Lugo (see Tincatinker's post) there should be an Alsa bus to Ambasmestas which is a few kms before O'Cebreiro.
