Vicarie Pro

Time of past OR future Camino
(2017)
Hola everyone! I’m starting my 1st full Camino Frances journey on Sept 2, and I’m nervously excited!
I’ve been reading so many great and helpful hints from everyone on this forum and (think) I’m ready to go!
I did have a question about the Vicari Pro. Although I’m walking this Camino for myself, I did walk the last 118km in 2017 in memory of my husband. At the time I did not know about this option and was curious if anyone knows if I might be able to take my pilgrims passport from that 2017 journey to get the Vicari Pro in his name. I realize I could get one for this journey, but It would be meaningful to get it for that journey. I could always just take it and try - but why add weight to my pack if not necessary, right?!
I sincerely appreciate this forum and the valuable insights from experienced pilgrims.

"Vicarie Pro" is written on the Compostela, but not on credencial itself (unless you write it on the credencial yourself, which I did on my last Camino as an aid to the volunteer in the office who would be giving me the Compostela). I'm not sure if they will give you a second Compostela on an already closed out credencial. But the "vicarie pro" is not printed on the Compostela but written by hand at the bottom, below the date but above the signature. There is nothing preventing you from adding it yourself.
