Xunta Albergues increasing their prices

In one of the Facebook Camino groups I follow, a peregrina reported that as she was checking into the albergue she was told the price will be increasing to 10€ effective Monday. it’s been at 8€ for a number of years, so not that surprising.

Yeah, I’m surprised it didn’t go up earlier this year too. But they are all operated collectively under a contract, which leads me to believe that changing the price is a lot of bureaucracy.

They remain fairly priced either way.

I can't believe Xunta Albergues is raising their prices. It's disappointing for budget-conscious travelers like me. We have to rejoice that at least just for 10€ and find the best deals with Priceva.
