Would you like to own a Spanish Village for Free in Galicia

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Sigh! I can only dream!

But, then you get the bill from the government for taxes in arrears, the costs to provide essential services, and the cost of renovation to make whatever you buy habitable... Then there is the complication of a very thorough title and land survey to ensure someone does not come along after you have made things livable and claim their inheritance or rightful ownership from under you.

We've all had the same dream as we walk the Camino. It is incredibly beautiful. Just bear in mind the old saw that goes: "If something appears almost too good to be true...it probably is (too good to be true)." The devil is in the details and fine print.

Caveat Emptor!

If the Mayor in a French village does not like you ...............adios amigo.............impossible to finish with $$

Reb could end all the dreams of buying old homes in Spain but she won't ........not enough space.

Reb , there is a rule of thumb in Oz with renovations [ NOT new homes]
Whatever you think the cost is , and that is every single cost , including holding costs [ money] , whatever your quantity surveyor tells you the cost is going to be ,

YOU DOUBLE IT

We walked in 08 with Juuls and Johan from Holland and he stayed in France as taxes in Holland was over the top for builders.

He purchased a run down property and has built a beautiful property in Fontaine - Milon , near Angers

We are very proud of J&J achievements and anyone walking the coast of France should use their property.
