Wonderful television series about the Camino - The Naked Pil

I did the Camino last year, I only wish I had seen this first. Art critic and lapsed Catholic Brian Sewell follows the road to Compostela (he cheats and goes by car though!) and visits churches and pilgrim spots on the way. This is a very moving and often amusing television series - it does capture the spirit of the Camino and what it means to be a pilgrim. He sets off as a man presenting a tv programme and by the time he arrives in Compostela he has questioned his loss of faith. There is a beautiful and emotional climax by the sea in Finisterre. I was given it on DVD as a birthday present - it was made in 2003 so I'm sure it's still available. Has anyone else seen this? I recommend you watch it before you go.

Hi there,
Yes I saw it on the television and soon after bought the DVD.I am a big fan of Brian Sewell anyway
and I thoroughly enjoyed the very witty and insightful film of his travels along the route.I think anyone with an interest in the Camino Frances would get a lot out of watching this.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
