Wise Pilgrim iPhone App

Has anybody gotten the wise pilgrim iPhone App to work correctly? Was hoping to rely on it's gps mapping to show me the route and closest water sources, coffee shops, alberques, etc. After buying it from the app store I found the app only partially works. Beautiful artwork and elevation maps but I've been unable to access any other info. I'm guessing all the missing data is contained in the updates. But alas, the update hangs and I can only get unhung by exiting the app. For awhile I thought it was because their server was down, but after 2 weeks it still doesn't work. Tried leaving messages at the website but no reply as of yet. Anybody know more details? It's a great concept that really looks attractive to me.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Haven't heard of that App, I had another Camino App that was close to useless the maps lacked any detail, biggest wast of phone memory and money, I am curious to hear more of this one, but I don't have much faith

One last call for sanity! The Camino offers a 30 day+ respite allowing one to think their own personal thoughts, to confront ones personal spirituality, to explore the depths of ones own soul, to fathom the real meanings moving one through life and you want to take a iphone/pad/pod? "Vanity Vanity all is vanity saith the preacher"? Do you have the courage to face your true inner self or must you blah blah your way along 850 kilometers? Most albergures have a coin operated "pedal driven" computer for communication, find the audacity to reveal your self to yourself and leave this device from hell at home.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Except for the gps, an app that shows elevations, towns and what's in them, and where to find fuentes doesn't sound much different from carrying your Brierley's except that it would be quite a bit lighter. And you can't rip the pages out.

Lighten up, pilgrims.

hi,

I would like to come back to the original question: has anybody managed to have this app working properly?
I installed it today, however it never comes back after I press "update" .
and it does not seem to be a matter of time, because i left it working for 4h.

many thanks,
Silvia

Join the Camino cleanup. Logroño to Burgos May 2025 & Astorga to OCebreiro in June
As I couldn't even get their website to run without freezing or refusing to open pages, well I decided to not even try downloading it

A selection of Camino Jewellery
I ended up deleting it and re-downloading it and it works better. Restart you phone first before doing this

Hello.

I did use that App on my IPhone ( actually 3 versions of it: Aragones, Frances & Fisterra).
All 3 worked fine. Updates are long and need a good connexion. Other wise worked very well for me.
