I walked Santiago-Finisterre-Muxía-Santiago. 200 km. 113.3 km without Santiago to Finesterre.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Yep, you sure are. What I don´t know is if you need another credential or the same one is valid.

Buen Camino!

You're unbelievable Beatrice!!! You might as well walk back to SJPdP, piece of cake for you :)

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
If I understand your question correctly no, your walk back to Santiago does not entitle you to another Compostela. You already have three right ;)?
Well I got one at the pilgrim,s office today. Now I have one for Camino Frances, a Finisterre a Muxíana and a compostella for camino Finesterre. And i will hopefully get one for camino Ingles when I get back.

Beatrice you call yourself an 'Active Member' have you ever thought of changing it to: ' Hyper Active Member' ?

Buen Camino!

Beatrice, are you walking Ferrol to Santiago rather than Coruna to Santiago if you are hoping for another Compostela? Only the former is far enough.

Do I look like someone that takes the short way ;-) I'm in a hotel in Ferrol now. Will start to morrow morning.

Perfect memento/gift in a presentation box. Engraving available, 25 character max.
:D Didn't want you to have gone straight to Coruna, some folk don't realise how much shorter that branch of the Inglés is. Have a great time.

We hope to be there again after the Camino del Mar (or as much of it as possible) next year. We'll be joining the Inglés at Xubia (Neda/Naron) just over the 100km point as the Camino del Mar might not officially qualify yet. (Lugo Amigos are working on this we believe, but it will take time I am sure.)

The Camino from Finisterra to Santiago de Compostela DOES entitle you to a "compostela" as it over 100 kms. (passing thru Muxia).

I imagine that you would need a new credential actually.

Buen Camino!

The first time I went on pilgrimage from Roncesvalles to Santiago (a real pilgrimage I must say), I asked for a stamp on my credencial at each albergue where I was happy to stay overnight:). But after many more "Caminos" (with my lesser "pilgrimage" attitudes) I asked for a stamp wherever I happened to stop:cool:. The credencial became a concoction of stamps from albergues/bars/restaurants/supermarkets and other locations. They obviously needed extentions by other credencials due to the limited  spaces on each accordeon. I felt to have abused of the "system". Today my Compostelas are somewhere rolled up into one of those nice containers you can buy at the pilgrims' office:confused: But many fellow pilgrims stay in touch and enrich my life:). No Compostella can substitute this experience.;)

Interesting to hear that you can get another Compostela for walking back from Fisterra - at least as long as you go through Muxía. Logical I guess but this is the first time that I read of someone actually picking one up.

It was the tourist office that told me I could pick one up if I walked from Finisterre to Santiago via Muxía as it is over 100 km. But I didn't really trust them so there for my question here.

I picked mine up at the Xunta Municipal albergue in Finsiterre on 31 July of this year.

My mistake, I was thinking of the one in Finisterre only.

Beatrice - Now all you need to do is get yourself back to León, walk the El Salvador and pick up the Salvadorana at the Cathedral in Oviedo ;)!
I think my husband wants me to come home so it must be next time :-)
