Which Guide for the French Way?

I know I don't need a guide, but call me old fashion from my backpacking days.

I carried the Brierley guide on my first Camino and used it till it . I saw that Ivar produced the Wise Pilgrim guides and I was wondering if anyone has experience with it and has compared the two.

What are the pros and cons of each?

Thanks

I think everyone has their favourite guide. On my phone I have the WisePilgrim app and Brierley on the TrailSmart platform app. I used both on the CF this year. I preferred WisePilgrim because it is not organised by stages and it is easy to use. I particularly like the continuous elevation map. On my phone one screen’s view of the elevation map is approx 20 kms which is my preferred days distance so very convenient for planning. I used Brierley for two things. The first was so that I could check what his end stages were and avoid those stops when possible. The second was for his more detailed information about sights and locations.
Given that neither is expensive and they are both available to download it was an easy decision to have both. I am not familiar with the printed version of WisePilgrim but I understand it contains more detailed information than the app? Someone else will undoubtably know more about it than I do.
Buen camino and happy decision making.
