Thanks to Falcon and all the others who answered a lot of questions.
We finally bit the bullet and made a decision.
We fly into Barcelona on May 8 and bus to Toulouse on May 10.
We will stay there a couple of days, then train to Lourdes, where we will begin walking.

Can anyone tell us where to get a Credential either in Toulouse or Lourdes?

Anyone else walking the Aragones at this time? We will walk to meet our group in Pamplona and need to be there by May 27.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
In Lourdes you can get your credencial at the information desk, on the large square nearby the grotte, the one with the big golden crown.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
in toulouse I think the friends of the local confraternity who give stamps in st sernin church every afternoon can also provide you with a credencial.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
