Where to Find Stamps in Paris

With Notre Dame closed and Tour Jacques rarely open for stamps, where do you get stamps in Paris? The tourist office did stamp mine but where are the usual others?

Perfect memento/gift in a presentation box. Engraving available, 25 character max.
Unfortunately there no pilgrim places which offer special stamps but any place in France that is in business has a stamp so ask at museums, where you are staying and any cafe or resto.

Do scan these earlier Forum threads for much more about pilgrim sites in Paris and the camino within Paris.

See also this more recent thread re shells on the streets of Paris.

For a pilgrim connection by location you might search/ ask along the rue Saint Jacques which was the main medieval route south which pilgrims followed leaving Paris. One stop might be at the church Saint Jacques du Haut Pas; their early mission included helping pilgrims.

Happy exploring and Bon chemin/Buen camino!

The Archdiocesan office next to Notre Dame (10 rue du Cloitre-Notre-Dame, 75004 Paris) as well as any parish church. I like the one from St. Gervais near the Hotel de Ville as well as St. Jacques le Haut.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
Bonjour @buridon

Les Amis Saint Jacques de Paris have an office 2 kms walk from the Tour St Jacques. It's an interesting place to visit. They will have a stamp, I should think. Here's a google map link:

8 bis rue Jean Bart, 75006 Paris (FR)

St. Germain des Pres has them (near Les Deux Maggots Cafe) offers them, go in front door and turn left to a small office-- I think glass doors. Very nice sello!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
