I am new to the Camino and planned a walking route starting in Oia - Spain and finishing in Santiago but I don't know if the path I am planning to walk on is the one that was meant to do the pilgrimage ?. Can anyone point me to this info ?. I am not doing it for a religious reason.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
If you go to Gronze.com and open the link to the Camino Portuguese de la Coasta, you will see that Oia can be found on Stage 6 of this route a bit more than half way between Caminha and Porte Mougás. If you need a place to stay there, we very much enjoyed our night at the Albergue La Cala. Bom Caminho.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
One of the Portuguese Camino routes goes north through Águeda which is about 10 km east of Oia.

The route through Águeda shows up clearly on my OsmAnd screen when the map of Portugal is installed and hiking routes are enabled. I followed that Águeda route in 2018.

OsmAnd is a free map-and-navigation app that works offline and can be installed on Android and IOS devices. There is also a for-pay OsmAnd+ option that permits installation of a greater number of maps.

We stayed in Oia several years ago while walking Portuguese Coastal route. I remember it being well marked and walking an old Roman road on a hilltop before descending to Baiona. It was a beautiful walk.

One spot left (female, shared room) on the Catalina Island hike. Sign up by Sept 17
Oia ia a beautiful place along the pilgrimage Coastal Route, a bit more than halfway between the stage from Caminha to Mougàs, see this on my website:

You will love it here! Stay at La Cala Inn, and day hi to my friend Tanya! Tell her Elle sent you!!

You can continue the route on the Coastal from there and get maps for all you need on my website too!

Here is a photo of the monastery in Oia! Lovely, by the sea:
