We had the Stars

Well
We had the stars for a little while
Before the long decline that put them further from reach.

We held the stars in our hands and took them to breast
Thinking...
I can hold these forever and a day
We did not get burned and we did not fade
We shone like a sun and stayed awake to play in fields of green.

We held them tight
Instinctive...toward the light
That was ourselves.

Some
We held too tight and turned to sand and clay
Slipping through our fingers like the light of day.
And we turned sad..because .because...
Because we turned away.

We had the stars for a little while tonite
And the clouds hid them away for a while
But i remember stars
Shaking their dust from my hair and eyes
Down my cheeks they ride.

I remember that we held stars
One at a time
Metronome
The years tick by
And we had the stars to guide the way
And now fond memories of endless days.

Sitting in my greys...i remember the warmth of many stars..
Reached
And not
I grow old but i remember that feeling of youth
When all was in reach

Pilgrim mulling on the Way
Go..go and do it..we get no younger
Hair goes grey
Walk
Becomes sway
And old hands cant reach that far anymore

The Way is a Star you can reach
So someday...you can remember
You had the Stars..and young enough to catch them..dont wait too long now...

Off you go Pilgrim!

To each & everyone
Take care of peacefulness
Give present to the greatness
To most of all, the mankind

Sacrificing it joyfully
