For Sale/Wanted WANTED: ALTUS Ponchos

Holoholo automatically captures your footpaths, places, photos, and journals.
Are they sure they want 'Altus' ponchos? If they are sure that they will walk the camino many times in rain, or hiking lengthy hikes in wet conditions, they may be worthwhile. I had a borrowed one that was wonderful if heavy but on researching on ebay, there is a company from Hong Kong/China which sell knock offs with free delivery worldwide for less than 20 euros!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Train for your next Camino on California's Santa Catalina Island March 16-19
Yes I would like an Altus poncho. I'm in Australia and no way of getting one here. Any suggestions. I arrive in UK 21sept

Hello @Margaret Hine and welcome to the forum. I think the poncho mentioned by @kevhan84 has already been posted to @Anniesantiago - they are both in the US.

I have found that for Australians the only way to get an Altus is to wait until you are in Spain or St Jean Pied de Port. Tigger mentions knock-offs on eBay but does not provide any links and I am extremely doubtful - I've been researching these for years. I do not believe they would be the same. There is also a seller supposedly from the UK but when I clicked on the reviews it is a scam - articles not received, no refunds, not the real thing. Beware!

If you are going through Madrid there is a shop that sells them (it is in the centre and easy to find) -
You can ask for one to be reserved to pick up when you arrive.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
@Margaret Hine they are made by Altus, a Spanish company (supplier to the Spanish Army). You should be able to buy one in Sarria, I have seen posts in the forum with shops - I'll look.

You can purchase them in SJPP, in Zubiri, in Pamplona, and in Sarria for sure.
