- Time of past OR future Camino

I walked along the ocean from Á Guarda to Vigo in Spain or the Camino Atlantico then cut into Redondela to hook up with the route coming up from Tui. Easy to follow. .. Keep the Atlantic Ocean on my left. As getting there from Portugal, the official boats weren't operating .. Some dispute as to which country is going to dredge the harbor.... People have posted that one can hire a local boat man to take you over. Or go to Tui and hike, or bus to Á Guarde. Amazing Celtic Castro ruins there. Not crowded but many places to stay. Best to your Camino. ElinHeidi,
We recently started a "Coastal Route from Lisbon" section of the Camino Portugues, so I've moved this thread to that location. As you'll see if you look at the map on the site linked by Isca-camino above, though, this camino really doesn't spend much time at all on the coast.
But Aurelio provided a link to another trail, Trilho das Areias, which is directly on the coast.
