Walking Stick in Lost Luggage - Help

I antes to bring my waking stick to the Camino. It was lost on the first die from when I landed. It didn’t arrive until three days into my 5 day walk. I could not spend the money to go to the airport and get it. It now sits in the lost luggage holding area in the Santiago airport. This is a keepsake for me and sadly I never got to use it in the walk.

I am now about to board my plane. Any ideas on how I can get it from the Santiago airport and get it shipped back to me in the USA.

Have you asked the airline to send it to you, since it did not arrive when it was supposed to?
