Remember in the film Braveheart, they fought for freedom. Well I'm walking for freedom, the freedom to carry on seeing my 6 and 13 year old daughters, who live 350 miles away. I am supposed to see them for a holiday but my ex wife seems to now think I can only have supervised contact. I am not prepared to accept that, so will finish my Camino and as a peaceful protest, as a statement and dedicate this walk to all genuine Fathers who find their access to children unfairly restricted.
If anyone has any ideas about publicising my endeavours then please feel free to voice them.
I will probably go to Ponferrada and do the 200km to Santiago, fly back 9 September.
When I got to Ponferrada having walked from Burgos on July 14 I took the train to Hendaye from there, the same train that was in the accident on Monday at Villada. My prayers go to all touched by this incident.
Probably head out after the weekend, unless a miracle takes place! :?:
Buen camino to all
PEACE
