On 2nd December 2014 3 women set out from SJPP. We took the Valcarlos route as the other was closed. A brutal first day, but we wouldn't have missed it. We had our little Australian cloth badges on our packs (thanks Ivor, I got them from you the previous year when I tried the Portugeuse route). After a few days one of the party had s bung knee, but we walked, ate and drank our way across Spain to Santiago. Fantastic!! And we were so lucky with the weather. I might even do it again.
