This is the tale of an older pilgrim who after two weeks succumbed to a combination of bad weather, depression and events at home and returned home from Burgos. Five months later, encouraged by my wife I returned and completed my first Camino. As I slowly plodded along, many pilgrims walked into and just as fast walked out of my life but unlike walking with a group, I finished with many friends who enriched my life.
