just found out my friend walking with me has an iPhone 14 and dual eSIM, no physical SIM card slot.

Doesn't have to be Vodafone, I have head great luck with them. would like to get it done at the airport.

as standby there is a chance we may have to fly to CDG, then OPO, we will see.

glad to have a SIM card slot, would not want two eSIMs

As I recall (2018), there are two Vodafone shops in the Lisbon Airport. I expect both of them will be happy to sell eSims. When I was there there was a long line at the first you come to but when I went upstairs to the second there was no line at all.
