Hi Jan, thanks for replying! There are lots of hotels in Vigo on booking.com, and that’s where I’ll probably end up going. I just wondered if there are any cheaper places that cater for pilgrims, like backpacker hostels or pensions that aren’t on booking.com.
By the official camino path I mean the one that goes around the city. It’s a surprisingly pleasant path considering it is so close to the city centre.

I managed to get Hotel Panton last year via ebookers at a sale price, €22 ensuite room only. Easy to walk and rejoin route. Also close to bus stop if heading to airport!I've stayed before at both Hotel Celta de Vigo & Hotel Panton both 2-stars cheap & cheerful!
