September (2017) First stage of Camino Portugués
Hi pilgrims,
I competed the Camino Frances earlier this year and have been badly bitten by the Camino bug! I'm now, planning on walking from Lisbon to Porto with my wife next September
(We will then return to walk Porto to Santiago the following year).
Before walking this year, I watched some really motivational video blogs on YouTube from people who had done it before,, and wondered if there were any similar 'day-by-day' video blogs out there relating to the Portuguese Camino. We are particularly interested in any that cover the Lisbon to Porto stage.
Any help would be greatly appreciated X

Good evening and best wishes for 2017. My husband completed the Lisbon to Santiago in March and I went by car (rental) as there were not many true Albergues from Lisbon to Porto, via the Combria (mid Portugal way ) so I organised the B&B's on route. After Porto there are more places to stay on the walk so left him to it. He walked the FSJP way in 2015 so in 2017 I am walking the FSJP, well up to Burgos hopefully.

I went on youtube and typed in "el camino portugues" and that search inquiry produced several pages of videos of people who filmed themselves walking it. More than I can list on here.I'm sure there has to be one that can be of help to you in some manner.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
Not a video blog, but I posted to my blog each day from the CP from Lisbon in 2014, giving lots of info and photos. You are welcome to take a look here

I've taken alot of videos which you can see on the YouTube channel of CaminoWays.com or type in Portuguese Way on YouTube....
As I did but removed them recently because got problems because of the rights of the original Portuguese and Galicean music I used in my Final Cut editing program.
Now I don't upload any vids anymore. Big brother is watching you, also on you tube.

I made a video of a friend of mine ,performing a piano music piece of Rachmaninoff, a Russian classical composer.
The video was refused due to copyrights by YouTube only because the name of the composer was mentioned.

Under my YouTubevideos of the caminho Portuguese-many of the forummembers watched them-was written "unauthorised use of music" in blue letters.!
