Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
music

Personaly I`d not take music onto the Camino but as you are then I`d recomend a wall charger as you`ll find plug sockets easily but a usb requires a usb port and not all internet points have these, especially on the coin op pc`s in bars and up in the mountains.

Enjoy
Buen Camino

Dawn;

You need to take a wall charger, with a European adapter. These things take some time to charge, in my experience at least as long as a cell phone. You are not going to want to hang around an internet cafe for that long. Each charge is good for about 12 hours of play time so given that you are not using it for walking, you may get by with only one or two charges for the entire trip.

Have a wonderful Camino Norte, and I look forward to hearing all about it when we are both back!

Love and blessings, :D

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Geoff3, thanks, i am NOT WALKING the camino listening to the mp3. i thought perhaps at night if i want to hear something. i am walking the camino norte, and some nights may be on my own.

Lora i do have a wall charger, i am also taking a battery charger for my camera. i took it last year and very light weight.
My sansa charges in about an hour!!!!! like you say, if i listen to at night for an hour, i would only need to charge it once, so on that not, maybe not taking the charger. it is small and light but like to watch the weight.
On a goofy note, i stayed with my old pack even thou it is 4 1/2 pounds.
tomorrow is the DAY!!!! just loading the pack now.
with gratitude to you all
