When I set out from Âncora to Caminha a few days ago, my knee (3x surgically repaired) was causing trouble. As I was considering my options for getting to Valencia/Tui, I came upon an advertisement for canoeing up the Rio Miño to my destination.
When I woke that morning by the sea, I had no idea I would have a great river adventure paddling to my destination with experienced rowers (but more importantly, kind people), including a great picnic stop along the way.
If on the CP Coastal route, consider using your arms for a few hours and give your legs a rest. More info here:
