I don't know what model you're referring to but I've owned a Uniqlo down jacket. They are more for fashion than for hiking and despite wanting very much to be pleased with it, I found that it didn't keep me as warm as it could have. In the end, you get what you pay for. I wouldn't recommend any of the down jackets/vests from Uniqlo for long distance hiking.
