- Time of past OR future Camino
- VdLP-Sanabres-Fisterra '15; Levante-Invierno '19
I turn 50 that March and I want to go to Tanzania to climb Kilimanjaro in March. But since I need to fly to Europe anyway to get there and I potentially have 6 weeks up my sleeve I am thinking of going to Spain to do a short 2-3 week Camino. Partly to get some hills and get away from sea level, and to get the fitness up more than I can at home. I've done the VDLP/Sanabres in summer so a cold weather camino is quite the challenge for me. But given that I have to have cold weather gear and boots for Kili, I will be equipped!
I had contemplated the Primitivo but that is probably too hilly and snowy and bordering on insanity.
My other thought since then is starting in Zamora and finishing off the other VDLP route and turning off onto the Invierno at Ponferrada and then rejoining the Sanabres at A Laxe.
Thoughts?
