Time of past OR future Camino
Madrid to Santiago de Compostela
Im too tired to elaborate after walking 20KM and climbing 2 mountains today but this just happened:
The 'hospitalero' just made a joke at the bar towards me about what to do with my dead body if I die here.
He said he could throw my corpse in the river or stash it in a big barrell he has, he said all that while making the morbid joke (?) To the bartender who was smiling in a way I didn't liked. As if they had this convo before. Im just there trying to finish my sandwich quick cuz I dont like hanging out in bars much let alone when im tired.. Maybe I'm too tired but I didn't really found it to be a funny joke and it's definitely the first time two strangers at a bar are having a laugh at my expense and joking about disposing my dead remains. Not funny. Specially when i have to sleep in the same house with this stranger, just us two.

Im not going to lie, I considered paying a Hostal somewhere else and leaving but everything here closed. Im trying not to read much about it but again im very tired and I came to do the Camino because I wanted to heal: my father judt died, my mother in law committed suicide in my son's birthday (she had custody and was raising him) and i had to fight a nasty custody battle for my 10yr old abused child in South Africa. Im a wreck and need healing and peace! I dislike dealing with rude people and creepy people..

Because there are a lot of Trolls here (based on previous posts) and lots of rude cyberbullies, please only reply to me via a direct msg because I WONT READ THREAD REPLIES. For my own mental well being. Please respect my wish. Any rude People will be reported again.

Now I am looking for advice on this matter.

The town im at is called El Acebo de San Miguel and the hostel is called Albergue Parroquial Apostol Santiago. The dude's name is Alvaro.

Thanks

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
