Hello all I am in Barcelona for a few days and then will head up to Saint Jean. What is the best way to get to Saint Jean from Barcelona? if I am correct it looks like a train will go to Pomplona but then what do I do from there? I intend to leave tomorrow and start my pilgrimage on Thursday so excited.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Last month, we bussed Barcelona to Pomplona and then took a taxi to St. Jean. Taxi was negotiated before departure at 150 euros for 2 passengers.
Taxi driver was an aspiring race car driver. No accident, but ridiculous ride.

Ideal pocket guides for during and after your Camino. Each weighs just 40g (1.4 oz).
The busline is Alsa (they are owners of Conda whose name is also used). Schedule can be seen at and tickets bought at https://www.alsa.com/en/web/bus/bus-schedules

Use Saint, not St when entering the destination name or SJPdP will not be found.

To get to the bus station take bus line #9 from the RENFE train station. Here is bus line #9 information:
Once on the webpage select the link starting with RENFE so you see the correct sequence of stops.

The bus station is an underground station with a glass entrance building on the corner of parkland. It is located here:

Edit: Try to get a seat on the right-hand side (starboard side) of the train. I think you will like the view better. Less view of the southern sun and more of the northern mountains (though distant).
