Is there a direct bus from Santiago to Tui. I am starting my Camino next year from Tui.

I did this last year and had to switch buses in Vigo.

There is a direct bus to Valenca, Portugal. Valenca is just on the other side of the River and a 15 minute walk from the bus station, via a bridge, to Tui. There is a bus company I used called Alsa. www.alsa.com

You cross the river from Valenca do Minho to Tui on this very special tri-partite bridge. Designed by a 19th c engineer/architect Pelayo Mancebo, a disciple of Gustave Eiffel. Read more about PM here. Buen camino!

Gorgeous views from the bridge and of the bridge from Tui Cathedral & from Valença! Love walking over it from one country to another.
