Travel from Santander

Walk and Talk

New Member
Time of past OR future Camino
Have done from St.Jean to Santiago planning to do coastal route from Porto to Santiago July 2018
We are flying into Santander on the 11th September and going to Fromista to meet our parents as a surprise. Can anyone give us any information on how best to travel to Fromista.

Many thanks

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Trainline comes up with two direct trains to Fromista that day. Plus one to Palencia with a bus connection to Fromista.

I took the train from Santander to exit the Norte due to nasty weather and start a walk along the Canal de Castilla. It was lovely trip and there were stops along the way that would have been great places to hop off and start walking south to Fromista.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Or bus from Santander down to Burgos and a bus connection from there to Fromista (Burgos train station is a considerable distance from the city).

This is what I get from the Renfe app.
