Does anyone know if there is a bus or train from Burgos to Santiago. We have finished the podiensis. Have now walked to Burgos and trying to get to santiago. All I can find is a 10pm arrival time.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I'm quite confident that there is a train that will take you there. When I returned to Madrid, I took a train from Santiago to Leon...I'm sure it could continue to Burgos and the round trip would work.

Good luck

The RENFE website is notoriously unhelpful. It is offering you the only train that directly connects Burgos & SdC because thats what you asked for.

Palencia is the interchange on that part of the network. Try searching trains to Palencia and then trains to SdC. Buena suerte

We were in the same spot and decided to use BlaBlaCar, the Spanish ride-sharing service, as there were no tix to be had on bus or train. Navigated the app with my minimal language ability and Google translate without too much trouble. 20€ for the 2 of us, recovering from COVID and eager to rejoin our friends on the way.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

When having a difficult time coordinating travel on train or bus from A to B, try B to A. It sometimes provides options.

We took a train in 2018.

Use the Alsa website. I just looked and there is a bus the leaves Burgos at 4:05 and arrives about noon. We went form Burgos to Sarria about a month ago on the bus.

Hi I'm travelling to Burgos to walk part of the Camino Frances next year and my options seems to be fly into Santander and coach to Burgos, or fly into Madrid, then coach to Burgos. Don't think...
Hello! I’ve been browsing the forum and there’s plenty of info for baggage transfers from stage to stage, where you pick it up daily, give it back and move on, however what I’m after is a service...
