Hi

Anyone know if you can transport a bike on the bus to Finisterre? I'd like to ride back to Santiago over three days

Thanks
Michael

Ideal pocket guides for during and after your Camino. Each weighs just 40g (1.4 oz).
Well, it's a good question.

I know there's any problems to carry the bike from Fisterra to Santiago ... to carry several bikes, I mean. But I suppose may be much easier in the opposit direction.

By the way, on july changed the buses company that goes to Fisterra from Santiago. Now is a much longer way, visiting Muros ... and so on.

Why don't you go and back by bicycle?

Buen Camino,

Thanks Javier
I only have about 3 days for that part of my trip- Haven't decided whether to walk or bike

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Michael,
It was not a problem to take the bikes onto the bus from Fisterra to Santiago, so I would have thought that the same applies for the trip the other way round.

We are going to bike it the first time, sorry (but we are mindful of walkers :)). If there are any folks w biking experience…we are trying to settle the pedal assist e-bike or mountain bike...
Hope to do st Jean de port to finisterre in September 24 on bike. To buy a bike in Ireland and transport or buy in France. Any thoughts welcomed
Is there a dedicated guide for cyclists that suggests alternatives to the rocky/steep parts of the trail? I found a link to a 2018 one on another thread, but it is no longer available.
