Transport

We are hoping to finish this years part of the Camino at Carrión de los Condes or Frómista, our problem is we need to get to Santiago for our flight at 4pm, as the bus takes 6 and a half hours does anyone know of a faster form of transport? We would prefer not to stay in Santiago over night. Would flying from Madrid be a better option?

Train for your next Camino on California's Santa Catalina Island March 16-19
Train from Palencia takes 1:49 to Madrid. It takes upwards of 5 hours to Santiago.

Train from Fromista to Palencia takes 28 minutes. Leaves at 1207. There is a wait for next train at Palencia.

Bus from Carrion de los Condes to Osorno with ALSA. Catch the train to Palencia from Osorno (same one as passes through Fromista) Or continue to Madrid 5 hours ... added advantage is the bus goes to T4 airport.

There are more flight options from Madrid.
