I know there are a bus company called ALSA, but due our flight time departure we can not use these service. Is any other company? or even, can we rent a mini-van with or without driver for this jurney?. Do anybody know somebody private who maybe will be interested to do this service?
Thanks Pepe
The date to this service is progamed for the next 2 of august 2012, early morning departure from Santiago -and expect to be in Oviedo airport before 13;00 hours.

Hi there,

You might ask Pedro that runs a small buss company in Melide. They have busses, small and large for these kinds of trips. I have only meet him once, and I don't know if he remembers me, but he gave me his card. At least you could get a quote from him and take it from there. He was very generous in helping the people that made the Camino Documentary (http://www.caminodocumentary.org/) when they were traveling along the camino a few months back.

(Not sure if he speaks english)

¡Hola!.

Hello!.

First of all tell you that neither Oviedo, Gijón and nor Avilés have an airport.
Asturias Airport is in the village of Ranon, and in fact called Ranon Airport until recently.
The nearest city to the airport is Avilés, which is about 15 kilometers. The only option you have to reach the airport that I know is the bus company Alsa. First you catch a bus to take you away from Santiago de Compostela to Aviles. Here are the hours of a day of the week.

Once Aviles will have to take another bus to take you to the airport.

The problem is that it will arrive until three in the afternoon.

The other option is a rental car or minivan. I think there Asturias airport offices Atesa companies, Avis and Europcar. Let's see if one day I go and I can report something else.
