Should I fly to Santander Airport or Madrid to get to Molinseca. Earliest flight i can get from Dublin to Santander arrives in Santander at 3.00pm. Would like to get to Molinseca on the same day. Taxis are really expensive. Has anyone any advice on the best way of doing this.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).

Yes it is doable by train. But Molinaseca does not have a trainstation. Ponferrada does though.

Hi @BBLEN and welcome to the forum. I see that this is your first post.

I second @SabineP 's recommendation of the Rome2Rio site. It's a great resource for all sorts of travel questions.

Given that you want to do this in one day, it might be better to fly to Madrid. There are early morning flights from Dublin airport. You can then take a train or bus to Ponferrada for a bus, taxi or walk to Molinaseca.

Happy planning and Buen Camino!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
