Time of past OR future Camino
First time
I arrive in Biarritz airport on Oct 6th @ 12.30pm and wish to travel to Los Arcos to meet my partner. Having great difficulty finding buses/connections and quickest route. Appreciate any suggestions.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Give up reaching her/him that day.
If you do good luck and it will be late but don't count on it.
Get to Bidart , then bus to Pamplona [ 2hrs] then bus to Los Arcos [1.25hrs]
The tourist info in Biarritz or Bayonne will organise all .
Both buses from Pamplona and Bidart are ALSA.

Phase 1 Biarritz to San Sebastian

a. ALSA or PESA bus from Biarritz Airport to Donostia/San Sebastian.

or, less convenient but more frequent,

b. (i) Transports64 bus #816 from Biarritz airport to Gare d'Hendaye. Some buses continue on to Irun. Hourly

b. (ii) Metro Donostealdea from Hendaia (co-located with Gare d'Hendaye) to either Irun Colon or San Sebastian Amara. Every half hour. Colon station is located North of and across the bridge over the tracks from Irun Renfe Station.

b. (iii)Renfe Cercanias from Irun Renfe Station to San Sebastian Renfe Station. San Sebastian Renfe station is co-located with new bus station.

Or, if you took the Donostialdea Metro all the way, walk across bridge 1 km from Amara station to San Sebastian bus station.

Phase 2 San Sebastian to Pamplona bus station or Estella bus station.

ALSA (CONDA) provides bus service hourly from San Sebastian to Pamplona. Hourly.

Estellesa offers bus service between Irun Renfe Station (a good option) and Estella 4 times daily. You can catch this bus in San Sebastian.

Phase 3 Pamplona or Estella to Los Arcos

Estellesa offers bus service between Pamplona, Logrono and Estella including a stop at Los Arcos. Several daily
