Hi there

I'll be arriving into San Sebastián from Australia on September 1st 2017 and so excited to start my very first Camino. I'm specifically wanting to arrange a transfer to St Jean Pied De Port. Express Bouricott are unable to help and I was hoping someone here might know if there are other transfer companies that provide this service.

Thank you

Hi, Anna and welcome to the forum!

Getting from San Sebastian EAS airport to St.Jean couldn't be easier. It just depends on the time of your arrival because of the last train from Bayonne to St.Jean (SJPdP from now on).
From the airport you can take a bus to Irun train station (line E25):
https://www.rome2rio.com/s/San-Seba...3301-Estación-Kalea-20301-Irun-Gipuzkoa-Spain
but it's actually very easy (flat) 1 hour walk to either Irun (Spain) or Hendaye (France) train station:

From there you can take train first to Bayonne and then to SJPdP:

Check out train schedules for Spain here: http://www.renfe.com/
and here for France: http://www.sncf.com/

Buen Camino :)

3 of us split 130eruo for a taxi last August. Got there quick and enjoyed a late breakfast in St.Jean. Yeah, a bit pricy, but so is flying ...

Thank you for your reply. I was initially hoping to arrange a private transfer but it looks like the train might be the way to go:)
