Transfer from Madrid Airport to Tui

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
There is a Trenhotel overnight train daily, and a morning train weekdays and Saturdays. See www.renfe.es for the times. By bus you probably need to go to Oporto, Portugal, then connect to Valenca/Tui.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
Tharina,

Valenca do Minho, Portugal, and Tui, Spain, are the old frontier towns across the river Minho from each other. If you descend at the Valenca station you can then cross on the famous double-deck iron bridge attributed to Gustave Eiffel of Parisian tower fame to get from one city/country to the other. The view from the bridge to the Tui cathedral on the hill is SPLENDID especially at dusk when the lights are lit. What a wonderful way this would be to begin your camino!

Bom Caminho,

Margaret Meredith
