Train Madrid to sarria 10 October

There are no trains at all available to book Madrid to sarria in October- we have booked to walk at Jean pied de port to pamplona, and then travelling by train to meet to do sarria to pamplona on 10th October
We planned this months c ago and were assured the trains would be available nearer the date
Any ideas- do we panic and change plans or wait longer ??

Wait longer. Look again in a couple of weeks time. RENFE have not opened reservations for 10 October yet.

The random nature of RENFEs posting of available trains defies logic.

To my great surprise I booked two medium distance trains (Barcelona Zaragoza and Logroño Bilbao) for early October nearly two months ago; but I’m still awaiting one on which I want to travel only two local stops - about 20Km - on a train which I know runs daily and has done for decades.

It will run; as will Madrid Sarria.
