I am ending this portion of my Camino in Leon, staying near the Cathedral. Is there a train from Leon to get me to Madrid airport? Any help/instructions is so appreciated.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

There are trains which will get you to Madrid Chamartin station (some direct, others change at Valladolid) whence you can take a Cercanias train, the metro or a taxi to the airport.

Once you’re certain of your date, I’d recommend booking the train.
