We're thinking of taking a day trip from Santiago de Compostela after our Camino. Could you recommend a good and reliable tour provider to Finisterre, Muxia, Costa da Morte and Ezaro waterfall? Thank you.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Pranajayas,

Check out the useful suggestions in this thread and this also.

Additionally if you Google each location plus the term tour several possibilities pop up. Tripadvisor offers a selection too.

Happy planning and Carpe diem.

Hi
A few years ago my son came out to spend a week in Santiago with me at the end of one of my Caminos. We were thinking of taking the bus tour but found that it was cheaper to rent a car and drive the route ourselves. We picked the car up at Enterprise near the station had a good long day and dropped the car back that evening.

We used By The Way Tours. It was a wonderful experience as the guide was such a pleasant person and told us much more about the area than we would have gleaned from books or brochures. We had a fabulous lunch in a tiny restaurant with a lovely bottle of wine, and we didn’t have to drive ourselves back to Santiago afterwards. I highly recommend BTW (By the Way).

I am also curious about this. I am not interested in renting a car. Also I just checked by the way tours And all they seem to be offering is package tours for portions of various Caminos. Not day trips

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

There are 2 or 3 companies offering the Finisterre day trip. They tend to hand out flyers near the cathedral. Also the Tourist Information Office in Santiago has details.

I don't think you need one, rent a car and enjoy
We were exploring the car rental option but since the pandemic started and resulted in car shortage, it's no longer worth renting one. The price quoted was exorbitant ($300+/day from Sixt for example). Thus, we're looking for recommendation for tour providers. Google search yields too many choices and we'd like to narrow it down.

We don't need to book in advance? We can just book on the day we arrive in Santiago and do the tour the next day? Thank you.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
I’ve taken the tour you mention twice with Galicia Tours. Both times excellent and great way to spend a rest day/post Camino. Lunch included. This month I also took the Baixe Riviera (spelling is off) trip, a great tour as well. Their office is on Rua Franco close to the Alemeda park end. I think they hand out flyers by the cathedral.
