Three week old new albergue in Zubiri

Yesterday when we got to Zubiri after a very hot day of walking there was no room in almost all albergues. The municipal hostel man took us out on the street and pointed across and a little to the right.
It was a new albergue open only three weeks. Segunda Etapa - there were 8 bed and 4 bed rooms. The bathroom was lovely, the beds comfortable. It has a kitchen for your use, she will wash your clothes for one euro and there are clothes lines and clothes pins to hang them with. It was 12 euros for a bed in the 8 bed room (bunk beds) and 13 euros for the 4 person room. Phone 697 186560. Website www.alberguesegundoetapa.cou - at least I think that is it.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Thanks for posting this! BTW you might want to check your thread title, autocorrect got you there ;-) Buen Camino, SY

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
We arrived at 3.30pm and got almost the last beds....we were told by a reliable source that 700 pilgrims started out from St Jean last weekend that was a large wave travelling along the Way.....

Thanks for this. Roncesvalles was turning people away last evening as it was full. so I emailed Anna at Segundo Etapa and booked a bed there. The municipal albuergue was full at 5 I heard. Anyway this place is lovely - quiet, lots of hot water, clothes washed and pegged out. And she booked me a bed in Pamplona. Would definitely recommend.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
