. . . Dead tired, that is, from having just walked the Camino Frances from SJPdP.
I'd like to stop at Avila for a day or two on my way back from Santiago to Madrid (first week of July). I have all the train logistics worked out, but I was wondering about recommendations on things to do and see and where to eat and stay.
I have a great devotion to St. Teresa of Avila, so I plan to visit the convent there, and am curious about ease of transportation to and back from Alba de Tormes.
A friend of mine suggested I also walk the walls.
PAX,
Matt
P.S. Some of you may appreciate my son's comment, "She may be incorruptible, but apparently she's not indivisible."
