After much planning and preparation I have finally packed my bag and am ready to walk from Bar sur Seine (about a week before Vezelay). It is early Friday morning in Australia and I arrive (French time) in Paris at 6.55 a.m. on Saturday - ready to rest and then walk on Monday. It is a big journey but there are many before and after me. Kevin (Omar on the forum) is about 3 weeks ahead of me and going strong the last I heard - and he walked the VDLP before starting in Vezelay! I will try and add the occasional post when I have longer on the internet. Janet
