The indefatigable Denise Pericard-Mea has recently posted an article on a subject I don't think I've ever heard mention of before, tho apparently Don Elias was aware of it. This is a relic of St James in Belorado, namely a snake that he is supposed to have killed to help a pilgrim. Not publicly visible nowadays but can be seen on request to the sacristy.
