Those of you able to view BBC's iPlayer might be interested in an episode of Digging for Britain that was broadcast recently:

There has been an archaeological dig going on at a leper hospital in Winchester, western England. When they uncovered the remains of one patient they found, nestling by his left hand, a scallop shell pierced with two holes to be strung around the neck.

Quite humbling to think we tread in his footprints.

Whomever this person was, they would certainly not have had any of our comforts.
So if they could make it, our challenges are surmountable, too.
And in Hawai'i we would say: it gives me "chicken skin."
