I have been waiting over a year to see this movie .... family and pilgrim friends in the UK have already seen it and raved about it .... finally, it is opening in Ottawa Nov 11 ... and guess where I'll be .... in the UK ... where I suspect it is no longer showing at cinemas .... I just hope it is still showing in Ottawa when I return at the end of the month .... totally gutted !!!!

Hi,

The movie has become available on DVD in the UK this week so if you have access to a DVD player while you are over here you could always buy and watch it. Not the same as a movie theatre, I know :(, and not compatible with Canadian DVD players.

Hope you manage to catch it somewhere.

The movie The Way officially opens in Toronto and Vancouver today Nov 4th and other major Canadian cities next week on Nov 11th

The first of two advance screenings occurred last night in Victoria BC (the second is scheduled for next week on Nov 10th).

It was a sold out packed house presentation with over 120 members from our local Vancouver Island chapter attending the movie, along with another 100 or more people. The movie was scheduled to start at 7.00 pm and by 6.30 pm the theater had to turn people away

Overall, the movie The Way is a great "must see" experience, honest and true to form and based on the audience's warm response, well received by all.
